I think that every day we renew the feeling of hope in ourselves and in our students, when we encourage them to be better, to establish fraternal relationships with each other. And we realize that our seeds bear fruit when we listen to these young people! There is a lot of sensitivity in these reports and an incredible perception that being "human" is a construction and how dependent we are on each other...

Yes, active listening and sincere dialogue are ways through which we can awaken hope in the other... Oh, how to name these experiences? Good question, let's think...Listening is a great point. I am always looking for better ways to encourage and build confidence in those students who are sensitive themselves, as well as to the world around them. Listening and helping build connections is a great start..
How can we name the lamp lighting experiences in our own community and share with others the initial flicker of hope that then explodes into expectations and possibilities, in our world wide community of young people?
