What a sad and lonely world we would live in if we remained bystanders or did not act on our curiosity. There would be little dialogue and little personal growth. Worse still we would lose our humanity. Relationships are vital to the individual and to the community. If we do not encounter the other and ask questions, how do we learn from each other and from our world? How do we empathise and celebrate what we have in common? How would we support each other? Hope requires more than thought, it requires action as Rabbi Fred shared with us. What an inspiring presentation!
